Cummins UK/USA Engines

Beside of Cummins engine models produced in China, there are some other Cummins engine models using in Komatsu construction machinery and not produced in China, which including QSX15, QSK23, QST30, QSK45, QSK78 etc. Cummins QSK23 is widely used in all different kinds of excavators, such as Hitachi, Komatsu etc. Cummins QSK45 engines is no longer in production, however, customers can using QSK38 or QSK50 engine to replace Cummins QSK45 engine, which already done by many mining companies for the Komatsu and Liebherr machines. Be careful of being cheated by rebuild QSK45 engine which selling as brand new engines, which many companies doing this now!

Cummins QSK60 Engine-Generator Drive: A Better Option

As one of Komatsu’s major product lines, the 180-240 ton payload capacity mining dump truck offers a variety of models, including the Komatsu 785 and 830E series, both powered by Cummins QSK60 engines. Recently, demand for Cummins QSK60 engines has been rising sharply.However, the QSK60 engines used in Komatsu mining dump trucks are older versions equipped with the HPI fuel system. In contrast, all the latest Cummins QSK60 industrial engines now feature the MCRS fuel system, posing challenges for customers when replacing their old QSK60 engines.Despite this, the Cummins QSK60 generator drive engine still retains the HPI fuel system, making it the best option for replacing the QSK60-C engine in Komatsu mining dump trucks.
